What to bring
Pack light and comfortable. Once your admission is confirmed, your coordinator will send a welcome packet with the full list and answer any questions about what's allowed.

- Photo ID and insurance card
- Current medications in their original labeled containers
- About a week of comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing
- Basic toiletries (alcohol-free products)
- Contact details for loved ones and current healthcare providers
- A journal, a book, or a photo that brings you comfort
- Arrangements for anyone who depends on you at home, including pets
What to leave at home
- Alcohol, drugs and drug paraphernalia
- Products that contain alcohol, such as some mouthwashes
- Weapons of any kind
- Large amounts of cash, jewelry or other valuables
